On the evening of May 15, 2015, 1,100 attendees gathered under the largest tent ever installed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the 250th anniversary of University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. The 26,000 square foot structure with multilevel flooring and clear vinyl top and sides was installed according to a detailed schedule designed to protect the iconic location and to provide guests with a view of the city at night and the fireworks display that capped off the evening.

Built overnight, EventQuip created a tented and floored venue for the grand opening of the National Museum of Jewish American History. This event was an 800 person black tie gala that was held on 5th Street in Center City Philadelphia. The equipment and labor included: 15,000 square feet of clear top tent with flooring, 7,000 square feet of support tenting, 395,650 pounds of equipment, 580 sheets of 3/4″ plywood, 460 2″ x 8″ x 20′ boards and 190 yards of gray cut pile carpeting. Five 53′ flatbed tractor trailers and ten 24′ flatbed trucks delivered the equipment, which was installed by a 53 man crew.
EventQuip hosted the National Association of Catering Executives for their Annual Black Tie Gala. The festivities included cocktails in EventQuip’s warehouse as well as dinner, a lounge, dancing and band in a tent with three tiered tent floor, clear tent floor entrance, and cantilevered stage over a reflecting pond.
For this fabulous birthday party, EventQuip constructed a raised level platform and a 66’ x 99’ clear top tent, installed on the top of a mountain peak in the Pocono Mountains.</span
For the 150th Anniversary of the Philadelphia Academy of Music, EventQuip installed leveled flooring and tenting for approximately 440 guests for VIP dining on Broad Street in Center City Philadelphia. In a 10 hour period we installed a 2′ high leveled floor, a 40′ x 145′ frame tent with clear middles and various support tents for this memorable event.
EventQuip custom built and installed a tent on the triangular-shaped rooftop of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
With 20 hours to build a venue for a high profile product launch, EventQuip combined our engineered 11’ high laser-leveled floor with carpet to support a 6,700 square foot European Structure. An additional 2,720 square feet of walkway, cocktail tents and support tents connected the home to the tented “cabaret” style nightclub where 400 guests celebrated in style.
EventQuip performed an emergency installation of a 100’ x 100’ clear span tent to serve as a community supermarket, while the original grocery store was reconstructed after a fire. Installation took place 3 days after the fire, and remained in place for 13 months until the new building was ready.
